Twitterviews

What is a Twitterview?
It’s a LIVE interview on Twitter, usually just between two people, but others who are following can ask questions during the process.

Why is the eduWeb Conference doing this?
Well, last year, when we started our first series in April for the 2009 Conference, Shelley Wetzel got the idea from a TV show and since we’re a conference about the web/Internet, why not try it? So, with a variety of participants - from Brian Niles of TargetX to Karlyn Morrisette of Fire Engine Red to Karine Joly of CollegeWebEditor.com - we launched “twitterviews” every 2-3 weeks up to the conference. They become a huge success, with people “rounding up to their computer and listening/watching the event”; reminded me of early days of radio.
